Today’s post is one of my favorite pet photographers in the world. Andy Stolarek, the guy behind the lens, is the genius of Furtographs Pet Photography. I wanted to feature Andy’s work as it is really great studio pet portraits. It seems in today’s photographic world, most photographers are taking photos of pets in natural light. This is one of the draws to me of Furtographs. It is professional. It is classy. It is perfect for owners who want to really have photos of their beautiful animals in a way that only you could get in an enviornment like this.
If you photograph animals or are a studio shooter, I highly suggest checking out Andy’s work. What I feel makes his images so strong are their simplicity, great composition and effective lighting. His images are very telling of the pet’s personalities. Just look through his galleries and blog. They also have a very distinctive look that is easy to spot.
Andy’s work is also on display at D Pet Hotel. It’s a luxury hotel for pets, which is a perfect home for the gallery worthy prints that you’ll find on display there.
